For Immediate Release
Making their first and only appearance of the 2025 race season at Central Missouri Speedway (CMS), Show Me Vintage Racers join the action this Saturday along with Super Stocks, B-Mods, Pure Stocks, and Midwest Mods.
Through six events this season, the Show Me Vintage Racers winner’s list includes Damon Clevenger (2), former CMS track champion Chad Eickleberry (2), Owen Evinger, and Jim Thorne. Note, mention of driver name does not guarantee race appearance.
After last week’s CMS action, a look at the divisional point leaders shows Concordia racer Dave Meyer leading Blaine Ewing in Super Stocks, Kansas driver Tim Karrick has a 50-point lead on Stephen Clancy in B-Mods, while Donnie Devers has a commanding lead on Jaren Powrie in Pure Stocks. In the Midwest Mods, multiple-time feature winner David Wood currently leads Alex Schultz.
On the horizon, the 25th annual Tom Wilson Memorial begins on Friday, July 4, with the return of A-Mods to CMS for the first time since September of 2021. The A-Mod return comes courtesy of the Heartland Modified Tour. Super Stocks are also on the card along with a track special event for Pure Stocks competing for $1,000 to win. Fireworks will follow the racing action.
Then, on Saturday, July 5, the Heartland Modified Tour returns for a second straight night along with B-Mods, Super Stocks and Midwest Mods. Fireworks will follow the race program along with a post-Race BYOB Party in the Old Pub 13 Building.
