Wood, Galvan, Carlyle, Nighswonger reign on King's Small Engine Night

WARRENSBURG, Mo. (April 25, 2026)—David Wood powered through a competitive field to secure the POWRi Midwest Mod feature win Saturday during King’s Small Engine Night at Central Missouri Speedway. Following Wood’s lead , the top five were rounded out by Logan Roark of Henley, Matt Taghon of Warrensburg, Brian Meyer of Concordia and Dustin Dennison of Pleasant Hill.

In the track points standings, Wood holds the top spot, followed by Roark and Taghon.

.In the Pure Stock division, Chase Galvan of Kan. City, Kan., outpaced the competition to take the checkered flag. The feature's top five included Jimmie Workman of Concordia, David Doelz of Warsaw, Jonathan Evans of Warrensburg and Donnie Devers of Baldwin City, Kan.

Leading the track points is Galvan, with Workman and Doelz rounding out the top three.

The B-Mods feature saw Troy Carlyle of Kearney claim the top spot on the podium. Rounding out the top five were Jake Fetterman of Sedalia, Jacob Ebert of Oak Grove, Lucas Eddy of Milan and Chad Staus of Otterville.

Carlyle sits top the track points, Fetterman is second and holds third.

James Nighswonger of Osawatomie, Kan., dominated the Super Stocks for the win. Joining him in the top five were Warrensburg's Cory Flamm, Blayne McMilli, Bryce McMillin of Warrensburg and Landon Nakoneczny of Warrensburg.

In the Super Stocks class, James Nighswonger leads the track points, followed by Cory Flamm in second and Blayne McMillin in third.
