Girard, Noll, Harris, Ewing Get 'er Done at Central Missouri Speedway

Dakota Girard surged to the front of the field to capture the POWRi Midwest Mod feature win Saturday during Get 'er Done HVAC Night at Central Missouri Speedway.

Joining Girard of Moberly in the top five of the main event were Brian Meyer of Concordia, Dustin Dennison of Pleasant Hill, David Wood of Richmond and Matt Taghon of Warrensburg.

In the current track points standings, Wood holds the top spot, followed by Logan Roark of Henley in second and Taghon in third.

In the Pure Stock division, Eddy Noll of Lawson outpaced the competition to take the checkered flag. The feature's top five included Chase Galvan of Kansas City, Kan., Jimmie Workman of Concordia, Jonathan Evans of Warrensburg and Devin Baker of Raytown.

Leading the track points for the Pure Stocks is Galvan, with Workman and David Doelz rounding out the top three.

The B-Mods feature saw Rex Harris of Macks Creek claim the top spot on the podium. Rounding out the top five were Chad Clancy of Polo, Darren Shaw of Lawson, Cole Hamilton of Archie and Chad Staus of Otterville.

Troy Carlyle sits in first place, Jake Fetterman is second and Jacob Ebert holds third.

Blaine Ewing of Green Ridge dominated the Super Stocks main event to secure the victory. Rounding out the top five were Jason Thompson of Higginsville, Ted Welschmeyer of Tebbetts, Aaron Poe of Warrensburg and Michael Muskrat of Stilwell, Okla.

James Nighswonger leads the track points, followed by Cory Flamm in second and Blayne McMillin in third.

After a week off, racing resumes Friday and Saturday, May 15-16, with USRA Modifieds, Limited Late Models, 600cc Winged Micros and a special appearance by the IMCA Mod Lites on Friday, followed by Comfort Inn Night on Saturday with POWRi Midwest Mods, Pure Stocks, B-Mods and Super Stocks in action.
